God as Abuser: Similarities Between the Christian God and Abusive Spouses

Note from Blog author: Although I am not an atheist, Cline’s points here line up with many oppressed non-Christian pagan people’s positions on Christian oppression of non-Christians. So I decided to post this. Also, Cline should have said people who are abused instead of “Women”? The behavior he describes has been witnessed between Parents and children, between LGBT couples, and all abused people. I do not believe that only heterosexual couples endure Christian  oppression within the relationship.

The one point I would add? Those who are abused or wronged are also bound by the insane expectation of Christianity to forgive their abuser, to make amends with their abuser, and to never turn their back on someone who has done whatever they wished in regards to the abused.
